Tap the gear icon in the top right corner and select ‘settings’ to navigate to the settings screen. Here a user can configure a printer, the operation mode of the rewards app, as well as which camera to use (depending on the device being used).
Connect to a Printer
If a printer needs to be connected, tap the status under the ‘Printer’ section.
- Tap printer settings
- Select the interface connection of the printer. If your printer is a USB printer, select USB. If your printer has multiple connections, select “All”.
- The app will search for available printers to connect to
- Select the printer you wish to connect to from the list
- ...
Someone needs to complete this section.
To refresh the list, tap the ‘refresh’ icon at the top right of the screen. This will update the list of available printers.
Operation Settings
There are two configuration options available for the operation mode of the app:
- The usable QR code scanner
- The operation mode of the App
External QR Code Scanners
A user can use the integrated scanner of the device or an external QR code scanner. Toggle the ‘Use External QR Code Scanner’ switch to allow the app to use an external QR code scanner. The toggle is on when it has changed colour to pink, and the circle is on the far right of the toggle.
Now when using any QR-related features, the app will default to an external QR scanner.

Operation Modes
There are three operation modes to choose from, each with different intended use cases. Select the mode that is most useful for your store’s configuration.
Standard Mode
Standard mode is the default operating mode. It is useful for mobile situations where users and customers are moving around, and the user is the main operator of the rewards app. This mode can be used as a stand-alone option.
Customer Mode
Customer mode alters the behaviour of the app to be more focused on customer operation. This mode is useful if the app device is stationary and the customer is the main user of the app. This mode is best used in conjunction with Operator Mode.
Operator Mode
Operator mode alters the behaviour of the app to be more focused on store operations. This mode displays logged-in users and is useful for quickly viewing customer information, adding points and redeeming items or coupons. This mode is best used in conjunction with Customer Mode.
Camera Settings
The camera setting allows the app to switch between using the back-facing camera and the front-facing camera. Choose your required camera position from the list of available options, and the app will automatically switch to the selected position.
