Standard Mode is the default mode of the Rewards App.
Change Language
Use the language dropdown menu at the upper right-hand corner of the screen to change the app's language.
Earn Rewards
To allow a customer to earn rewards, tap the ‘Earn Rewards’ button on the home screen. Customers can earn rewards by entering their phone number or scanning a QR code if they use the Snappy App or a custom app created by Snappy.
Earn Rewards with a Phone Number
- Tap the ‘Earn Rewards” button on the home screen.
- Enter the dollar amount the customer spent and tap ‘next’
- Verify the information on the screen is correct
- Enter the customer’s phone number and tap ‘next’
- The customer will earn rewards based on your store configuration and receive an SMS text message confirming the number of points earned.
Earn Rewards with a QR Code
- Tap the ‘Earn Rewards” button on the home screen.
- Enter the dollar amount the customer spend and tap ‘next’
- Verify the information on the screen is correct
- Tap the ‘Scan QR’ button
- If necessary, allow the device to access the camera and necessary functions to continue.
- Place the customer’s QR code in the center of the square. The customer’s QR code can be found under the Rewards App's settings tab by pressing the ‘ My QR Code’ button.
- The customer will earn rewards based on your store configuration and receive an SMS text message confirming the number of points earned.
Cancel Rewards Process
During the earning process, a user can cancel the process by tapping the ‘quit’ button at the screen's top right corner. A pop-up will appear asking to either confirm the quit by pressing ‘quit’ again or cancel and return to the process by pressing ‘cancel’.
Redeem Rewards
If a customer wants to redeem their rewards, start the process by pressing ‘Redeem Rewards’ on the home screen. Customers can earn rewards by entering their phone number or scanning a QR code if they use the Snappy App or a custom app created by Snappy.
Redeem Rewards with a Phone Number
- Press the ‘Redeem Rewards’ button on the home screen
- Enter the customer’s phone number and press ‘next’
- Enter the 6-digit validation code sent to the customer. The screen will automatically log in and advance if the code is correct
- Choose a rewards option from the rewards list by tapping the item in the list
- Confirm the redemption by clicking ‘Yes’ on the pop-up
- The customer will receive a text message confirming the redemption
- A success screen is presented to the user
- Tap ‘Redeem Another’ to return to the rewards list
- Tap ‘Done’ to return to the home screen
Redeem Rewards with a QR Code
- Press the ‘Redeem Rewards’ button on the home screen
- Press the ‘ Scan QR Code’ button
- Align the QR code with the centre of the square. The app will automatically load the customer’s information if the scan is successful.
- Choose a rewards option from the rewards list.
- Confirm the redemption by clicking ‘Yes’ on the pop-up
- The customer will receive a text message confirming the redemption
- A success screen is presented to the user
- Tap ‘Redeem Another’ to return to the rewards list
- Tap ‘Done’ to return to the home screen
Cancel Redemption Process
During the earning process, a user can quit by tapping the ‘quit’ button at the screen's top right corner. A pop-up will appear asking to either confirm the quit by pressing ‘quit’ again or cancel and return to the process by pressing ‘cancel’.
Send a coupon to a Customer
To send a coupon to a customer:
- Tap the ‘Send Coupon’ button on the home screen
- Select a coupon from the available coupon list
- Enter the customer’s phone number and tap ‘next’
- An SMS message will be sent to the customer, alerting them that they have received a coupon.
- The app will automatically go back to the customer screen
- Press ‘Done’ to check out the customer and return to the home screen
Check Membership Status
A user may need to check the status of a customer’s membership or the available points balance.
- Press the ‘Check Membership Status’ button on the home screen
- Enter the customer’s phone number and tap ‘next’
- A screen displaying the current points balance of the customer appears
- Tap "quit" to return to the home screen.
- Press the ‘back’ arrow at the top left corner of the screen to return to the phone number screen and check another customer’s information
